Mollie Payments Tutorial

  1. Within the LiveChat dashboard, navigate to ‘Settings’. From here, click ‘Manage Apps’
  2. On the next screen, click on ‘Mollie Payments’
  3. From here, you will see a ‘Connect with Mollie’ button – click this
  4. Login with your Mollie credentials and click ‘Connect’ to allow LiveChat to access your Mollie account. A blocked pop up will appear in the address bar – allow the pop up to continue the process (you may need to reload)
  5. On the following page, select the relevant Mollie Profile you’d like to use and confirm the selection
  6. You can disable the option to auto-refund your customers for the confirmation payment of 1.00 (any currency). 

To begin creating a payment, an active LiveChat conversation must be opened.

  1. Go to the Chat page in LiveChat and navigate to the side panel. From here, select the Mollie icon to open the Mollie LiveChat application
  2. Once the Mollie LiveChat application is open, click the ‘One-Time Payment’ tab
  3. In the form that appears, fill in the relevant Rich Message details: Image URL, Title and Subtitle
    • At least one of these fields must be entered
    • The Button field is required
  4. Enter the payment details: Description, Value and Currency.
  5. Click on the ‘Preview’ button. This will display a preview of the Rich Message, as well as the ‘Payment Configuration’ details as they will appear on the payment page 
    • If any details need to be changed, close the preview to return to the app and edit the appropriate fields.
    • If all the details are correct, click the ‘Send Payment’ button to send the Rich Message to the chatter
  6. Once the payment has been completed, a notification will appear on the chat page with the status of the payment

  3. In the form that appears, enter the Email Address and Name of the customer
  4. Fill in the Rich Message details: Image URL and Title
    • At least one of these fields must be entered
    • The Button field is required
  5. Enter the payment details for the subscription: Description, Value and Currency
  6. After entering the above details, select the frequency of payments
  7. If the subscription has a set number of payments, enable the option ‘Times’ and enter the number of payments
  8. If the subscription has a delayed start date, enable the option which will set the first payment to 1 month from the current day
  9. Click on the ‘Preview’ button. This will display a preview of the Rich Message, as well as the ‘Subscription Configuration’ details as they will appear on the payment page 
    • If any details need to be changed, close the preview to return to the app and edit the appropriate fields.
    • If all the details are correct, click the ‘Send Payment’ button to send the Rich Message to the chatter
  10. Once the payment has been completed, a notification will appear on the chat page with the status of the payment
